Passing through the quaint country town of Berry is an obligatory passage towards the south coast of NSW. The charm of the town makes it an absolute pleasure and an ideal recharge stop for lunch. Recently my parents, fiancé and I were on our way back from spending a weekend relaxing at Sussex Inlet with the plan to grab a bite in Berry before heading back to Sydney. Uncertain of where exactly we should stop, the charming frontage of Littlefork located on the high street immediately caught our eye…and what a treat we were in for! The leafy front courtyard, shaded by mature maple trees, makes this an ideal al-fresco dining spot on a sunny day. Once seated we immediately embraced the casual and relaxed ambiance, chose our meals then ordered and paid at the counter, allowing us to view the sweets and plan ahead to dessert! The South Coast Providores next door makes time pass quickly as you wait for your food to arrive. It will be hard to resist walking away without a jar …
